Chevy Impala Security Light Stays On. There are many reasons this light can come on, i recommend you take it in to a shop and have them check the diagnostic trouble codes that are stored in the bcm (body control module). If it does not start, or dies very quickly after it started, then leave the key in the ignition in the on position and wait 10 minutes.
